Upheaval

For the past few months I have been living with some unexpected upheaval in my life. I decided to mention it because it reminds me how flexible and innovative one might have to be when faced with no other options. I like the old saying "what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger".
My community has decided to put in sewer lines in my end of the hamlet. Now that is great news and I am going to be (one day) very appreciative of this event. For now I wonder what I will be facing when I get home from out of town workshops.
There have been times when they have "accidentally" cut through the gas and water lines. This has happened more than once and I get home to a note on the door or on the ground advising me of their mishap. I also come home to a frozen house!
Now they are really digging up by my house and it looks scary. There's a couple of picture from this morning. I was so surprised to see this when I arrived home last night!
So the lesson that I continue to learn is that "sometimes you have to put up with some upheaval before you can see a positive outcome from it".
I can connect this to some things going on in my life right now....have you thought about how you deal with the upheaval in your life?
