The Centre for Suicide Prevention, in Calgary, Alberta, and Nipissing University, in North Bay, Ontario, sponsored a Training for Trainers. It was an amazing week for me. I met some wonderful trainers and had an opportunity to explore the area. Any new adventure is always okay with me. Thankful to share these pictures with you.

 The "Walking with Our Sister's Exhibit" begins tomorrow in Edmonton, Alberta. I am so excited. I am volunteering for the event on Friday and Saturday mornings and I am looking forward to it.
I wanted to share this event with you in the hopes that you would decide to participate or to check if this exhibition is coming to your area. I know they are booked to 2019. This event is free and is intended to bring awareness to the missing and murdered Aboriginal Women. This is a growing concern in Canada and the United States, and probably around the world. I hope you choose to support the event in some way. This effort can continue to grow as long as we encourage and support it. That's how it was started in the first place. I look forward to seeing you there! |
