The greatest gifts that I have been given are my children and my grandson. As I watch him I am filled with joy and a renewed sense of wonder, particularly during the holiday season.
Here's my grandson Kaiden, my heart, and his joy at the light up and the coming thoughts of Christmas.

One of my favorite things to do is to walk, and in particular to walk along the Lesser Slave Lake and enjoy it's beauty. I am blessed to have my friend Verna who enjoys our hikes as much as I do. We talk about anything and everything! Here's some pics of our walks together. Some are summer, fall and winter. Take the time to enjoy our Mother Earth!

I went to Grande Prairie, Alberta last weekend to mentor a new trainer. I was sitting outside the Grande Prairie Regional College early in the morning waiting and as the sunrise brought the light onto the college I saw this beautiful sight! I went to the beautiful community of Cambridge Bay for the last week in October, 2009. This was my third trip there and more was discovered. The communty and the landscape changes each time and there is something new to see.
The first set of pictures are of the youth in the community demonstrating the sports of the Arctic Winter Games.
Another set of pictures is the fashion show that was held, the outfits are so beautiful!
