The Centre for Suicide Prevention, based out of Calgary, Alberta, and the ACICR, Alberta Centre for Injury Control and Research, has started offering webinars. There is a series that has been around since October of last year that you might find interesting.
These are based on the "5 things we wish teachers knew...".
The next webinar is scheduled for April 16 and they are about an hour long. I added a link under the subject that will take you to the registration site.
The Webinars that have already happened have a recorded version as well as the Powerpoint slides for any of the topics that you might be interested in. This is a great opportunity for teachers to learn more about Suicide and related issues.
