So it's February and snow, snow, snow. I have been busy travelling back and forth to Wabasca, Alberta. It is a wonderful community surrounded by small lakes. There are primarily aboriginal people, I think someone said 80% aboriginal population.
I am working with Peekiskwetan "Lets Talk" Society. It is a mental health agency with some great people working there. I am thrilled to be able to increase my skills and pass on what I have learned over the years.
I've been delivering a few workshops such as the ASIST. I have also been co-facilitating an Anger Management Group that will be done the end of February.
Here's a couple of posters about the Straight Talk Workshop and the Bereavement Support Group.
Also to let you knw that I also started a Facebook Page that will have some of these posters and other information. I am still providing workshops to other communities.
