So as I continue in the adventure of Diabetes Research, I am on such a huge learning curve. It has been incredible the amount of information, discussions, questions, stories, etc that I have been honoured to be a part of.

On the left is Kelli Ralph-Campbell from the University of Alberta. She is our knowledgeable and talented daily contact from the Diabetes Research Project.

Here is Karie Quinn. She is the community Dietician. She is such a friendly person with a wonderful keen interest in helping. SHe is wonderful with the participants of the programs she helps out in. She has a private business called Nutrition by Karie.
I am so pleased to work in a First Nation community with this team. Here's a picture of the Diabetes Walk and Luncheon we worked on together. It was alot of fun and created awareness of the health issue of Diabetes!
