The camp is held near the Rocky Mountains and is a place of peace and an opportunity to stop and reflect on your life.
The loss of someone who has died by suicide brings with it lots of questions and concerns:
Who can I trust to talk to about losing someone who has died by suicide?
What are some grief work strategies that might help me?
How can I use my culture and beliefs to build strength and support within myself?
This camp is run by aboriginal caregivers and incorporates both contemporary and traditional activities.
This allows the participant to share and learn from each other as well as the teachings of the facilitators.
If you are interested or if you know someone who might be interested give Corey a call. This is a life preserving activity and very worthwhile!
There is a cost for each participant and information about the camp can be obtained from Corey Wells at 780-953-8483.
I hope to see you there!
