Well it's been quite the adventure for me lately. There have been the ebb and flow of changes. I have come to appreciate change as necessary but nevertheless challenging. There is also learning in change, always a good thing and I appreciate all the lessons in life.
But onward and upward we go. Now that I am back on-line, I can share what is happening soon in November!
The Alberta Injury Prevention Network (AIPN) is hosting their fall meeting on November 6th, 2014. I have a short presentation there. I will be speaking on behalf of the Centre for Suicide Prevention about the Aboriginal Workshops that are now available across Canada.
I am honoured to be asked by Mara, the Executive Director, of CSP. I am proud to have been involved in all three programs that the Centre has to offer.
1) The on-line Course called "The River of Life" about Aboriginal Youth Suicide.
2) The one day workshop call "Little Cub", a discussion about Suicide and Aboriginal Children."
3) The one-day Workshop "Walk with Me" about Aboriginal Suicide Bereavement.
If you are interested in more information about these workshops, please let me know. I can be reached at [email protected]
I will share more about November events soon. So grateful you are a part of my journey. Hiy Hiy.
